I’m so glad in my country the most important newspaper “El Universo” has shown support to this kind of art, first was the Amazing Spiderman, then X-men, now The Avengers, this is one step forward in the comic world, Comic is Art! Good to know more people are getting to understand it.
I highly recommend you this album, she declares herself as the gangster version of Nancy Sinatra, no one could define her style better. You can feel the hip-hop vibe, the Sinatra Influence is Obvious, the classic instruments mixed with her voice that goes from soft to sweet and even childish make this record something really new to listen.
The lyrics are more than you would ever expect for a pop act, tho’ I wouldn’t call this pop and if I had to call it pop I would say is a brilliant kinda pop! She is showing that she knows what to do it. She is all about music and visuals, the videos proves it.

I can’t believe it’s been 10 years already, this album was and still is one of my fav albums of all time, Maroon 5 was so fresh by that time in music when all was about hip-pop - cheesy R&B they came out with this cool and young sound and the very particular voice of Adam Lavine which make this record Perfect, I enjoyed every single track on this record, my fav tracks:
